Youth Voices for Libya’s Future: Digital Creative Campaign for International Youth Day 2026

To mark International Youth Day 2026, the United Nations in Libya is launching Youth Voices for Libya’s Future, a digital creative campaign inviting young people across Libya to share original digital artwork that reflects their ideas, hopes and vision for the country’s future.

Young people are not only beneficiaries of development. They are creators, innovators and partners in building peaceful, healthy, inclusive and resilient communities.

Through this campaign, the UN in Libya invites young people to use digital creativity to show how youth can contribute to positive change in Libya.

Who can participate?

The campaign is open to young people in Libya aged 18 to 35.

Young women and men from all regions of Libya, including persons with disabilities and youth from diverse communities, are encouraged to participate.

1. Youth and climate action

How do young people see climate change and its impact on their future?

How can young people help protect the environment, address climate challenges and support more resilient communities in Libya?

What opportunities do young people need to learn, develop skills, work, innovate and contribute to Libya’s development?

How do young people perceive/visualize the importance of education, skills development, and employment?
