Watch the full interview here:   Al-Mahdi’s StoryAl-Mahdi’s restaurant was once one of the busiest in Derna. After the floods, it was left in ruins. At first, he thought the city could never recover. But step by step, he rebuilt his restaurant, restoring not only his livelihood but also a place for people to gather again. His journey is proof that determination can bring life back even after unimaginable loss.
